Yes, yes I am, I’ve just had finals the last few days and won’t be totally done until monday. Damn school.
In other news, the dopefest is one week from today! I’ll try sending out some emails later on.

As of right now, I’m still good. Mom and Dad have no problem with me going alone, and have even offered babysitting services.

my personal plans have my dates/places reversed from the dopefest(s), but i can toss in an idea or two.
in the dallas downtown area (not uptown mckinney), there’s trinity hall irish pub, and chaucer’s resto right next to the angelika theater. 75 & mockingbird. a bit yuppie, but good drinks & prices.
addison comes to mind, such as the flying saucer. there’s one in ft. worth as well (i think it’s better tbh). other pubs and beer halls or pool or whatever places are around. depends on your taste, and if you really want to get mugged in deep ellum or not. 1 exception would be ships, which is really old and damn cheap, but also sort of strange in a “this place is stuck in time, and it ain’t the 21st century” way, so bring cash.

Still here Ringo, just had some final-final stuff to get done that ended up dragging out till tuesday night. But now I am rested, refreshed, and ready to get my debauchery on with some Dopers! I’ll send out an email or two for our more forgetful members. See y’all there!

Gee, I love Austin. I worked at Brackenridge Children’s Hospitial 3 springs in a row. (Travel Nurse) ahh the blue bonnets, the flooding parking lots, and Sixth Street! Too bad… 
But I’m going to Swampfest on the 14th in Seattle in honor of swamp bear visiting the Emerald City.

Meetup is at four pm, at Shady Grove. I have the info into OP for this thread. I’ll get there a bit early and nurse a few beers on the lawn. I’ll prolly be the only guy wearing black shorts with a black button down short sleeved shirt, but ya never know. I’ll send out a mass email in just a few minutes with my cell phone number.
I’m not going to be able to make it. I have a cold and a sore throat, so I’m going to stay close to home and try to avoid making other people sick.
I’m fixin’ to leave. I’ll be the one wearing a red and blue Shippensburg University and counting everyone who asks where that is. All in the name of science, of course.
