I am neither Australian nor an economist, and I have no idea whether abolishing these bodies will make life better or worse: all I can say is that there seem rather a lot of them being cut and many seem to fit in the ‘Mostly Harmless’ category.
Hopefully, perhaps doing these things will create new beneficiaries ( in the ‘Friends of Tony Abbott’ category ).
