Well, I certainly thought Dennis was going to last longer; I think maybe he played the “I’m a virgin” card a bit too soon.
I am surprised she’s keeping Zach; if he winds up winning it certainly would make her seem a liar as far as beauty is only skin deep" or whatever she said earlier. IMHO, speaking as a straight amle, I don’t think Zach is all that good looking(although my wife agrees with me).
Anybody have any thoughts on what the “Big Twist” is going to be?

I think the “big twist” will be to introduce a studly male model in the competition.
I’m begining to think the real twist to this show is that these guys are all actors, and the joke is on us, the audience. Can they really be that dorky?

Another vote that Zach’s not that good-looking – perhaps compared to the others, but he’s well this side of stud-muffinhood.
Too bad about Dennis – but better now than letting him think he had a shot. I’m guessing all kinds of women will be contacting him now that they’ve seen him on the show – he’s a sweetie-pie.
Glad to see the demise of Marc – what a slimy little toad he is.
Which one was Marc, again? Was he the last fat guy who got onto the bus and bemoaned the fact that she voted off everyone who weighed more than 200 pounds? (Basically saying, “Like heck she thinks personality is more important than looks!”)
This was just painful to watch. Between that guy Marc’s frightening capacity for self-delusion (She’s going out with him because she likes me), to John’s whininess I began to really understand why them call these guys geeks. I’m with you all that Zach isn’t good looking and Malena lost big points for smooching with him. Big points.
I don’t see why she got rid of Dennis - he was a harmless mascot (unfortunately) and added a lot to the spirit of the group. She could have gotten rid of that tall guy with the curly hair and weird mouth (like they all don’t have that).
Does Dennis remind anyone else of Michael Carradine’s character in Revenge of the Nerds?
I don’t think Zach is all that attractive either. He kind of looks like a mutated version of Chris Klein.
Zach looks and acts like an immature fratboy. I think he and Melana are perfect for each other.
Mrs. AG was extremely upset at what transpired last night on the show–even threatened to call in sick today as a result (though she was probably just fishing for excuses).
She was most upset that a good half of the remaining guys are your classic frat-boy alpha-pack, with Zach as the head male, Jimmy as JFK Jr., and Adam as the OK guy guilty by association as a tag-along.
Then we have Mr. Desperation (“One Kiss! WOOHOO! I can die happy now!”), Mr. Delusional (whose inclusion only feeds the delusion), and the one normal, if majorly overly-polite guy, Indian Braniac.
Worst oversight, I thought (besides Dennis McWonderful), was Costanza-Man (Joe?). I can’t blame her for throwing out the ones she wasn’t attracted to, but the other big guys always seemed sweaty or slovenly, while Costanza-Man was funny and personable. Oh well.
I have to say, though, that the toothbrush prank, while incredibly childish, was also really really funny. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

I thought there was supposed to a twist LAST night. I’m getting tired of reality show and the “twist”. Why must they all have one??
I will agree that Zach isn’t good looking, but compared to the rest of the lot, he’s a 10.
I am cheering for the Indian guy. “Do you like broccoli?” has become a favor saying in our house now and it makes me laugh.

I’m actually serious, though. I think there is a possibility this is a big sham. Actually, I hope for the sake of these losers that they’re acting.

If you listened to the “fine print” they said something like the “events were leading to a twist”. When I heard this, I thought “Tricky. People will think the twist is tonight, but it obviously isn’t.”
They could keep the “twist” dangling out there for another week or so. When they finally reveal it, I predict it will be an attractive model type or even an old boyfriend.
Maybe they get the guy from Revenge of the Nerds to come in and kick some nerd ass.
I also bet the big twist is a good-looking guy joining the game–my prediction is that it will be the hottie that got out of the limo and greeted Melana when she first arrived. The one that she asked, “Are you staying?” (the Joe Millionaire look-alike).
Or maybe…they’ll introduce another woman into the mix just to give Melana some competition. Probably not going to happen but it sure would be interesting.
How about this for the twist:
They get the guys from “Queer Eye…” to come in and spruce up the remaining contenders. Not realistic, but I like the idea. Is A&E a NBC affiliate (if not, then definitely not the twist)?
