AVI is jittery/shakey

I can’t figure out what’s causing this problem. The video is jittery and shakey throughout most of the movie. It’s not constantly jittery but it does happen for about 90% of the avi. It doesn’t seem like a drop in framerate. I believe it’s a problem with the video rendering but keep in mind I don’t know much about this stuff. The audio is fine. In fact, the audio stays synchronized despite the video problem.

I ran it through GSpot and it detected no problems. I can copy & paste what it says if anyone needs it.

I downloaded the latest Divx Codec (5.1) and it didn’t help.

I used nandub to find more information about the file. It didn’t tell me much but it did play the video fine through the “preview” option. :confused:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, I was afraid this problem would be too specific for this board. Could someone kindly point me toward a site that has troubleshooting information? I’ve read over the Divx forums but they were no help. :frowning: Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
