I just figured out that Teresa Strosser is no longer the host of While You Were Out on TLC! Nooooooooooo! She was the only reason I watched that show. Looks like it was her decision though, according to this interview:
Doh! There’s a lot of skepticism on the WYWO messageboard (they think she got fired), but it sounds legit to me - 200 days a year on the road would be tough. I find the part about no gentlemen callers to be a stretch though. 
There goes my reason to apply to be on the show. You know how they finish each show with a quiz asking the person who was surprised why the other one wanted to redo the room for them? It’s usually something like “Well, she really needs a place to get away” or “She’s always wanted to do something with this room.” Mrs. Slacker was afraid if we were on the show one of the choices of what I said at the end would be “Cause I wanted to meet Teresa!”
