Ok, The Urge didn’t swear at anyone, he didn’t call names, he didn’t kidnap anyone’s beloved pets and torture them. All he did was start a thread which was grossly misinterpreted as trolling. And he gave the board an opportunity to vent their spleens on him. He doesn’t even know how to flame properly.
Sure, he came off as a bit arrogant, but as I stated in another thread, I think the recent Invasion of the Multi-Trolls has left folks on the SDMP a bit hypersensitive.
Um, he used to be OgreFade, who went off in a snit last week. He came back under a second screen name, Urge, because he made such a big deal out of the “farewell forever” bit that I assume he was embarrassed to log back on as OgreFade.
Users having more than one screen name is definitely against the rules. He actually posted using both user names in his ATMB thread, signing the name “Urge” to the OgreFade post.
When he was found out, he then threatened to get his own domain name, get 5,000 Hotmail accounts, and spam the SDMB. Go read all his threads, especially the ones in the Pit.
It’s got nothing to do with whether he’s a nice kid or not. He had his second chance, when he came back as Urge. Nobody would have noticed if he had behaved himself, but he soon reverted to type, and WallyM7 recognized him.
