Ok, so I just received this progam and have been using it. I have configured my router to let it work properly. Unfortunately, whenever its downloading, msn, IE, nothing works. Sometimes even after I turn off the program, i dont receive messages.
Any suggestions?? Please help
You’re using this software for perfectly legal redistribution of Linux distros right? 'Cause if not, the mods will lock the thread as soon as they see it…
I don’t know what could be causing the problem unless it’s using all your available bandwidth for the downloads… but that wouldn’t shut off IE, it would just slow it down a lot. Have you tried a different BT client? BitTornado is good and it’s written in Python (Azureus is Java IIRC) so it may give you better results.

One issue I’ve seen with bandwidth-intensive software, which is made more noticible by the fact that most broadband connections are asymmetric, is that you can pretty much kill your ability to download anything at all (including web pages) if you saturate your upstream bandwidth.
Setting the program’s upload bandwidth to something around 80% - 90% of your rated upstream bandwidth will usually solve the problem.
