According to Blogging Baby, Michelle Dugger and her husband Jim Bob are expecting baby #17 at the end of July. Opinions about the sanity of said move are for another thread, okay?

Here’s a list of the existing kids’ names:

Joshua, John David, Janna, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jeremiah, Jedidiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson Levi, and Johannah

Clearly the baby will have a J name just like all his/her siblings.

Does anyone else see “Jinger” and think it must rhyme with “stinger”? I’m guessing it some stupid alternate spelling of “Ginger” but I keep reading it as Jinger-rhymes with-stinger.

Looks like they’re partial to biblical names.

Maybe they could name the baby Jesus or Judas or even Jehosephat if it’s a boy.

For a girl I’d go with Julia (which is my given name) or Judith

Yes, and I hate it. I mean, it’s not like there aren’t plenty of perfectly good girls’ names out there that start with “J.” The other thing that drives me nuts about their kids’ names is that Joy-Anna and Johannah are so similar. Janna’s pretty close too.
