(I am more than jealous as I was trapped in the hospital 72 hours with #2 ( child, not bm) and had no internet access and no friggin’ cable.
Labor & Delivery was easy, the rest was *sheer hell *. Oye!

Good morning to you all! Thanks for all the words of encouragement. The whole thing was not all that difficult, as the docs just up and decided to do a c-section. Actually only took about 15 minutes and she didn’t feel a thing. I got to see her guts, too!
The Heapette, whom I won’t name just 'cause this is an open forum, was 20" long, weighing 6.14lbs and came out at 6:22pm.
For you crazy NYC Dopers that I know, she has my hair color (poor thing).
Green Bean, yes, this means we can’t make it, unfortunately. I will now have off Friday, but my back is too bad to try to drive around in the city, and nobody is going to come up here, so, hey. I was really looking forward to seeing you guys again.
However, I will be participating (heavily) in the Mega-Dopefest!!! And I say again, we have plenty of extra space.
