Back From Iraq

Again, thank you all for your words. Means alot to me.

Not really a whole to tell. I’m sure most of you saw it all on TV. Probably knew more about what was going on that I did. I’m just glad to be home.

Welcome back!

My auto machanic was wearing this T-shirt the other day, and it made me think of all the jarheads I know on this board. It said:

Cracked me up.

FWIW, while we’ve been following the news, this group is aware that the correspondence between what things look like on the news, and how they look at ground level, can be extremely iffy. So any stories you have to share would be appreciated, at whatever time you’re ready to share them.

I’ve seen the news reports, too, but I take them with a grain of salt. Did you see almost universal destruction, anger, confusion, cruelty, and hopelessness?

Welcome back, and thank you - I’m very, very grateful.

Welcome Back! I’d love to hear an account of your time over there.

Thank You Very Much for Your Service.

One of the first “Ask The …” threads I’d actully look forward to reading in the future:

We here thank you.
I’m certain most there would say Shukran Gazillan

Welcome back and thank you for your service.

To the extent you are ever in the mood to share, some sense of your experiences would be helpful. There are so many stories at the personal and overall level of terrors and triumphs, good and bad behavior - I am sure you saw the gamut.

Thank you again.

I am glad to see you’re back. Welcome home!
