Nononono, Maggie McFly had McFly as her married name (we aren’t given her maiden name). She married Seamus McFly, had a son named William McFly, and somewhere along the way had a great-grandson or something named George McFly, who was Our Hero Marty’s father.
Lorraine Baines, though played by Lea Thompson like Maggie McFly, was totally unrelated. She married George and became Marty’s mother. Marty met her and her parents & sibs in 1955 when he took his first (accidental) time travel trip. The entire plot of the first film centres around Marty’s trying to get George and Lorraine together after he accidentally interrupted their first meeting and Lorraine developed a crush on Marty. :eek:
