Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson reunite for Back To The Future's 30th anniversary

I can’t believe it’s been thirty years. It’s by far my favorite time travel film.

Cast looks amazing. Especially Christopher Loyd. He’s 76 now.

I’d love to see one more Back To The Future film made. Perhaps by combining old footage with new? They’ve gotten trapped in some time period and aged for many years. Can they get home?

I think they could pull it off, Michael J Fox returned to acting a couple years ago.

I plan to go Oct 21 if its in my city. I’d love seeing Back to the Future on the big screen again.

I’ve been wondering if the actors/filmmakers were going to do anything for the occurrence of the year 2015. I guess all three films were centered around the specific date October 21 so something will happen then? Kind of interesting how Michael J. Fox doesn’t look nearly as old as his 2015 character looked, especially considering that Fox was older than his 1985 teenage character was. Had to emphasize it being the future with him looking noticeably old I guess.

BTTF I was November 5th, 1955 (thru Nov 12, the lightning storm), and BTTF III was September 2nd, 1885 (thru Sep 7 - “That’s this Monday!”).

But BTTF II’s future travel was Oct 21, 2015. They left again the same evening.

It would be neat if they did something on the day Marty/Doc showed up in 2015.

Anyone else catch the cameo of Doc in “A Million Ways to Die in the West”? I thought it was brilliant!

Wow, he was only 46 for the original BTTF? Great Scott!

Was that “new” footage with Lloyd or did they use footage from BBTF 3? The characters didn’t directly interact on screen and there was a “BTTF 3 used with permission…” line in the credits (though that could just apply to the concept).

I only saw BTTF 3 once and that was ages ago so I couldn’t say how the scenes would have compared.

Hard to believe he was only 46 then! At least he nearly looks his age now.

Hard to believe Lea is 54 now! Wow, … I mean, wow. Really, wow.

His character wasn’t a Hollywood actor, either. I bet that Fox wouldn’t look as good if he had allowed himself to age naturally.

It was new footage of Lloyd in a cameo as Doc Brown.

Remember he went back to 1885 so it would have been a gag of BTTF3.

I haven’t seen AMWTDITW yet, but I did see a behind the scenes short which showed them filming it. Also McFarlane said that Christopher Lloyd had a great time shooting the cameo because he really loves doing the Doc Brown character.

Crazy - when I saw BTTF2 2015 seemed like it was centuries away! And yet here we are…

In BTTF 1, at the end that had an aged Lea Thompson to what they thought she’d look like now (the attractive Lea Thompson at the end, not the one at the start of the film). Boy did they miss the mark - she still looks to be in her 20’s!

Shameless plug: If you’re in Northern California, our theater is showing all 3 films back-to-back next month. Includes outtakes and excerpts from the new documentary about the franchise. Hope to see you there!

Who says Fox hasn’t allowed himself to age naturally?
