I know what you mean. There’s just not that much to do on the net with the Dope down! 
I really thought it was just me, in fact right until about a minute and a half ago. I think I was here when everything went kerflooey. One minute I was reading, the next minute nothing was coming up. After getting thousands of “web site not responding” messages yesterday and earlier today, I decided something was goofy with AOL, and decided to try to access through Netscape. I got in on the first try. I’ve been swearing at my computer for 48 hours for no reason. (I mean, there was a reason, but it wasn’t the computer’s fault.)

I came here this morning before checking my email. Phew! Thanks for the tip on Fathom, Opal – I’ll check it out (and register) once I’ve gone around and peed on all the bushes here. Oh wait – I have to go to work today. Hmm. Maybe I should call in sick – I’m sure my boss would understand – “See, the boards are back up at my favorite site after two days, and I have some serious reading and posting to do…”
