It’s been a hard couple of days, but hopefully we all got by without the SDMB. So what did you do instead of surfing the boards?
I gave up on the internet, and learned how to play a couple of cool songs on guitar. I also worked a little more than usual, and I actually read a little bit, you remember those old fashioned paper books? Anyway, nice to see that we can post again, I’m relieved 
Had to resort to the only other message board I frequent, Chowhounds Bay Area. Reading dim sum restaurant reviews got a bit tedious and just made me hungry. Oh, yeah, and I had to work a little too.
Spent more time at Fathom than usual. Got some work done at the office. That’s about it.
Trembled… had the shivers… felt nauseous, threw up a few times. Considered locking myself in a room for 24 hours… Had to force myself to eat.
Read James Lilek’s entire site. Cover to cover, so to speak. Read that hilarious piece on “The Gobbler” at least twenty times.
Lurked around Fathom. Didn’t post, though.
Cooked more than usual. Didn’t eat more than usual, however, because I have gotten to where I can’t stand my own cooking. Kids were happy, however.
Oh yeah, and checked my email every fifteen seconds. Other than go through all these little withdrawal shitfits…not much.
I went to Fathom, too. And hit refresh here about 4,000,003 times, hoping it would magically reappear. Oh, and I wandered over to the UnaBoard, but didn’t register.
Housework.
Yes, I’m ashamed.
Something came over me…maybe I was woozy without the dope.
But somehow I ended up as the project coordinator for this semester’s group project.
Oh, and I got a lot of classwork done and spent time over at Fathom.
In the category “Carrying things a little too far”, it looks like Metatus (the boohiss* SMDB ripoff) is also down. My girlfriend asked me why I wasn’t talking about the Dope yesterday.
I was frantically doing my Television Cultures homework.
Oops, looks like I still am!
Just 71 posts, and already addicted.
I like to see that.
I still had dope, just not the SDMB.
I was … I … umm … I … Oh yeah, I shopped and bought some new DVDs.
It was very therapeutic.
I had to talk to actual icky humans face to face.
And I looked for the Blue Fairy.
I wrote my most recent English paper in record time.
Got a friend to lend me her copy of Vampire Hunter D, so I watched that and yelled at the movie several times.
I was going to have to resort to television surfing soon…not pretty, I tell you.
I worked, played “columns”, ran errands, read actual books, searched other sites, and got reaquainted with the joy that is “Penny Arcade.” Oh, and I cooked. Overall, though, not much different.
Oh yeah, and I shot a man just to watch him die.
Unfortunately, I got distracted from something and I missed it. My friend tried to tell me what it was like but…it just wasn’t the same.
I took control of the illuminati that controls the world behind the scenes. Bow down before me, peasants, for I am now your lord! George Bush shines my sandals and John Ashcroft hands me my toilet paper when I take a dump! Hahahahaha ha ha h- (gags)

Checked in at Fathom and Unaboard but didn’t post much more than usual.
I worked on my Photshopping skills and lured of the writer of Dawn of Amber to come post over at my board to discuss the book.
I stared at a wall, rocking back and forth, muttering.
Well, either that, or I studied for my Physics test, studied for my German test, worked on an ML program, and read for my seminar. Take your pick; whichever sounds best to you.
