It was hell, I tells ya. No Dope fix for like six hours this morning, so I was forced to have conversation with my spouse and drink my coffee at the table. Once I even went outside for something, but it was brief.
I went to a friends house who was having a Mothers Conference. I met with people I haven’t seen in a long time, learned about how to better understand a teach my children, and ate great food. Life outside the Dope was pretty fun. 
but I missed it anyway.
Had to talk to your spouse? Holy shit…I feel for you man. How did you ever survive?
I played games and read a little. : p And slept for about half of it.
Saturdays are busy for me anyway. I took a run this morning, took a shower, had breakfast, went out for the two-hour violin rehearsal I have every Saturday, and got a haircut. I was busy until 3:30-4:00 anyway. I occasionally kept checking back on my phone to see if the Dope was working again. Funny, I was the first person to post on the board after its re-opening at 3:58 PM EST.
Laundry and gardening, and lots of online sudoku.
I tried the SDMB once about 9AM and then TWOP. Both down for maintenance. Cried a little and had another cup of coffee. 
It was cold this morning so I stayed inside reading a book on my Kindle.
I saw others in my 'hood, emerging squinting into the morning sun with a look of wonder on their faces. Dopers all, I’m sure.

I went down to the garden shop, & bought most of what I needed to put together 3 small terrariums.
No plants yet.

The worst part was that my internet was down last night, so I was already troubled. Then I get up this morning and there’s no Dope! It was a true tragedy.

Meh. Just pop over to giraffe and read the threads where everybody disses on the Dope.
Went to the store, bought food, did yard work, got the raspberry patch set for the year, installed new light fixtures in three bedrooms, finished my PhD…
It should go down more often.
The Dope downage coincided with nothing else working at my house either and a three-day dry spell here in not-Colorado-land. I had no choice but to run amok in the streets spreading violence and mayhem.
It all kinda worked itself out this afternoon, though. I’m feeling much better now.
I had to edit this goddamned video project without anything amusing to look at in the pauses. It was hell. Hell, I tell ya.
I popped over to the giraffe board also. I wasn’t there too long though. I started with a thread about why Roo should be boxed, but none of it made any sense to me. I was very confused.
I was strangely glad that I couldn’t read the dope this morning. Instead of spending my Saturday morning lazing around on the computer, I went and ran errands including going to IKEA and getting these:
I fixed someone else’s database. Then I watched some Arrested Development reruns on Netflix. Then I went to the store.
