Bad, bad, bad Beck ain't scared of no ghost! (My first night sleeping in the ghost room)

Gato, the grandwrex all want fancy water guns.
Make the order and send them here.
I’ll need 6.

Don’t want the hassle just send your CC#

I’m sure I’ve read or heard about Chinese corner ghosts, but I can’t find any cite. I did find this though:

At first glance, freedom from gravity seems appealing, but a constant state of floating presents several issues for the ghost encumbered by it. Primarily, how can you settle into a spot when you want to? The situation is one similar to that of the shark—some of their species must continuously move to stay alive. It’s not quite the same, but kind of.

The fact that humans are constantly surrounded by currents, vibrations, waves, and energies has little effect on pushing the living about. The same is not always true for ghosts. These ghosts are forever affected by a subtle barrage of light waves, sound waves, electromagnetic waves, solar waves, microwaves, ultraviolet waves, infrared waves, and even forces as simple as wind currents.

For these ghosts, corners offer some refuge. Once positioned in a corner most of the waves, currents, and energies flow over the ghost which helps to hold them in place. Also, corners are typically void of human activity and attention which make corners that much more an oasis for ghosts.

Imagine rolling a toy car horizontally along a wall towards a corner. If the car continues this trajectory to its inevitable end, it will run into the opposing wall and be stopped in its tracks. Now imagine the same situation, but in a room with rounded corners, or even a circular room—the car would move easily along the curves and rounded corners with little or no diminishment, disruption or disturbance of energy. Depending on the radius, there wouldn’t be much a corner for a ghost of a certain ilk to nestle into.

I will not comment further.

I dunno about ghosts but I do know the Cowtown Schnauzer Twins love to be read to. They also love Sounds Only Dogs Can Hear And Love on YouTube. My pups are intuitive and high strung. If you have ghosts they will know.

Bayliss (who was named Bayliss because @Gatopescado insisted I name him that😇) is very sensitive to many things. He knows when I’m feeling bad, tired or something like a glucose problem.

I’ve begun to believe his warnings. And take action if I can.

He is always right.oops, I told a secret, Mr. Fish is really a nice guy. He just don’t want anyone to know

We have so many high tech gizmos today.

Yet animals are often more aware of their human companions health. Dogs have detected cancers, up coming seizures, low blood sugar etc.

DADs are amazing.

Bayliss licks my hand or my foot. He won’t stop til I get up.

Somehow, I knew Bayliss was going to be doing that for you. I bet that’s why he came, too. All the animals who love you knew you needed someone to keep an eye on your health and he drew the lucky straw.

I wish he could talk and tell me what’s wrong.
I understand his muteness. I’m mute occasionally (actually alot, lately).

But it’s so disturbing not being able to say what you want/need.

If it were me, I think my default response would be to check glucose immediately. If that’s okay, alert the family that Bayliss thinks there’s something wrong so they keep an even closer eye on you.

I do just that.

:+1:t3: :+1:t3:

Should have known. You’re a smart cookie.

I bet Bayliss will also fetch another family member if you don’t respond fast enough to suit him.

He does herd kids and Chihuahuas.
The Cats stay out of his way

I misread your post. Yes, Bayliss will go to my Mid-dau. He chuffs* at her til she follows him.

*It’s a low expelling of air. Not a bark or growl.

bayless coming into your life has been a soul shower, for him and you. what a good boy!

how is jojo doing?

Absolutely this. When he first came along, I thought he found you so that you could save him. I now think he came along to save you. He’s a very good boy, indeed. Please give him rubs on his belly from his Virtual Aunt Nellie.

Thank-you. I like a soul shower.
Jojo is great.
He’s got his place in the pecking order. He’s my first indoor/outdoor cat. Him and Haricot are good friends. The barn cat ‘Cat’ and he visit occasionally.
They all leave the Siamese alone. Bear holds no truck with any other living being. He’s a jerk. Meeko follows along with him.
All the dogs like Jojo. He plays a weird game of tag with the Chihuahuas.

Of course Bayliss is a grand old gentleman. He rarely gets silly.
He does his job very well.

We need more details on the ghost. Lurid details. Detailed details. It was a murder most heinous wasn’t it? An axe involved? Fireplace poker? A boot? A wolf howling plaintively in the distance. Low clouds scudding across a full moon. Rumors of a jilted lover.

Take your time.

I think I’d pay money to see that.
