In the words of Mr. Neville, yikes!
Anybody have any idea roughly how fast the car would need to have been going to do something like this?

Why does the car appear to have suffered zero damage?
Isn’t there a chain of restaurants which have an old Thunderbird or something sticking out of the front wall?
Yes, going through a brick wall at any speed, at least the lights would be broken. My guess is that they made a car-shaped hole, then carefully drove a car into it without touching the sides of the hole.
Gotta wonder if this isn’t Photoshopped.
Seems to be real. From the close-up picture, it looks like more of a brick veneer than an actual structural wall. Doesn’t have very much resistance at all to lateral impacts. And there is very little damage to the car, so I’m guessing the collision was less than 10 mph.
The driver is THAT good.
Ouch. Apparently the rain of concrete chunks did more damage to cars parked on the ground than it did to the car that actually went through the wall.
Looks like the wall was pretty thin in this pic.
Wow, I would’ve sworn that it was either trompe l 'oeil or some kind of sculpture installation. Hell, they should just keep it there as art.
Now, why would they just leave the car there? It looks like they can drive away.
Mercedes, probably rear wheel drive.
The article that Finagle linked to said the authorities were able to drive it away. Probably the driver was so scared he skedaddled, and the pics were taken before the authorities removed it.
It may be real, but I can totally see that as public art. Hmmm. I wonder who’s on the city’s public art committee.
The car was great, but there is a big stain on the driver’s seat…
Depends… was he leaving or entering?
I think this may actually be real. Notice the yellow tabe and rubble at ground level. Granted there isnt much rubble , but some is visible.
Man, what an ugly building.
We have that in Toronto: City TV building.
The one in the OP is real according to news reports though. I too was amazed by the lack of damage to the car.
It’s not. There’s an AP video on YouTube that details the story much better.
Yeah, where’s Tim McVeigh when you need him ?
