I’m sitting here, trying to kill time before my final starts. Of course, I’ve got some music going. However, I don’t think it’s quite the right music to get me in the mood for taking a test. Songs that I played recently (or had stuck in my head before this and thus had to play):
25 Minutes to Go Another Brick in the Wall, Part II (Don’t Fear) The Reaper Under Pressure Highway to Hell Blue Collar Man
It’s really easy to do if you’re just looking at titles, a little more difficult if you are actually thinking about the lyrics. So, what are some other counter-productive finals-waiting songs?
If the tune to Musci Box Dancer gets stuck in my head it makes me stupid.
Perhaps you should listen to Working at the Carwash Blues to inspire you to not fail.
There’s a Radiohead song that goes “Hey… man… slow down… slow down… keep breathin’…” which could be good or bad, depending how much sleep you need and how much studying you need.
Song on the radio when my alarm went off, the morning of my PhD (in mediaeval history) exams: Sam Cooke’s ‘Wonderful World’ – you know, the one that starts ‘Don’t know much about history…’
how is ABitW part 2 (well, part any) “bad”? It has the best guitar solo in history.
