Badger badger badger on an ipod

Being somewhat insane, I wouldn’t mind having this on my ipod for listening to on the bus. But I don’t have a video ipod, and even if I did I’d rather have it as audio. Has anyone done this already?

If you just want the audi, it’s pretty easy (on a Windows PC) to fire up some audio recording program while the flash animation plays in a different window; it will record what you’re hearing and you can save it as a digital audio file.

I recommend Audacity for the actual recording, and if you install the LAME encoder (instructions somewhere on the Audacity site, but it’s dead simple), then you can save directly to MP3 from Audacity.

If you want to convert a flash animation into MPEG format video or something, it’s a bit more complicated; do-able, but not quite so simple.

If you’ve got £0.80 to spare, you could always buy it from the source.

For a similar levels of insanity that are easier to obtain, the Llama Song is available for download here.
