Baghdad & Dad's Bag

The current focus on Baghdad reminds me of the old British soldier who when boasting of his long and varied service put down a young soldier by reminding him that “I was in Baghdad when you were in your dad’s bag.”

A Royal Air Force equivalent was, “I was in the Air Force when Mortis was a rigger.” (A play on rigor mortis and rigger.)

Another Royal Air Force boast was, “I was in the Air Force when Pontius was a Pilate.”

Can anyone make further contributions?

This is no worse than Dad’s Bag: I was in the Navy when you were semen.
My apologies nonetheless.

Off to MPSIMS.
