Noted Academy Award snubs:

  1. 1942 - How Green Was My Valley wins Best Picture over Citizen Kane

So Citizen Kane was snubbed. Wouldn’t it be better stated like this…

Noted Academy Award snubs:

  1. 1942 - Citizen Kane loses Best Picture to How Green Was My Valley

??

That’s fine.

Noted Academy Award snubs:

  1. 1942 - Citizen Kane loses Best Picture to How Green Was My Valley
  2. 1999 - Saving Private Ryan loses Best Picture to Shakespeare in Love

(and are we only considering movies, or other snubs like actors/directors/etc who have gotten the shaft?)

And if I had been eligible to nominate for 1991, I would have snubbed Prince of Tides too. Streisand is talented, but she does herself a disservice with her “look at me! me! me!” attitude which spoils that film and others that she’s in.
