[Tonight the local Drive-In theater is showing the silent films Nosferatu and The Phantom of the Opera. They’re bringing in an organist with his organ to play live accompaniment. I’ve seen Lon Chaney’s classic done this way (though I was in an indoor theater) and think it’s one of the great viewing experiences of my life.]
