Name a TV series that you think ended well or badly and why.
The Fugitive - well, Kimble found the one-armed man
Star Trek: The Next Generation - last episode was better than the cast’s first movie
Newhart - the best ending ever!
The Chicago Code
MAS*H - Well. Solid finale to a good series.
Breaking Bad - wrapped up almost all the loose ends and was very emotionally satisfying
Quantum leap
Good Times- Well.
It was totally Deus ex Machina, but everybody got out of the ghetto, so I’ll put it in the plus column. (Though this being the Evans family I’m sure something landed them back there the next day, this time with three extra family members and one less bedroom.)

Scrubs - Would have had a well ending if they cut it off at 8, but ABC picked it up for a 9th amid the writers strike and the dynamic didn’t translate as well.

Will and Grace- bad
W&G stop speaking for 18 years, and J&K live on a fortune received when Beverly Leslie is killed. (Beverly was pathetic bud didn’t really do anything to deserve falling to his death and having his money go to a rentboy who didn’t even put out, plus it’s bad writing that he’d even name him his heir that fast.)
I missed the original airing of the finale but caught it in syndication, funny thing is, they ran the series premiere immediately after it, so I got the whole story neatly wrapped up in 2 episodes.

My Name is Earl - bad 'cause it was cancelled and didn’t have one… except the producers snuck in the “real” series finale disguised as an episode of Saving Hope, which was hilarious.

Dark Shadows - the soap opera. It ended with the timeline rebooted, nobody under a curse, everybody having a happy ever after, and then, one of the women is attacked by a bat. IIRC: “For the first time in the history of Collinwood the attack by a bat was only that. She recovered fully, and the lovers married and spent their days in peace and love forevermore.”

Lost. Well… I liked it, because I never approached it as a thing to be solved.
