Favorite High School memories.

  1. Stepping out on stage in a bit part in the third act of a school play and having the crowd roar, applaud and give me a standing ovation.
  2. hanging at Levels, the basement of the public library, remodeled and decorated to provide kids with a safe and friendly place to hang, study, perform, etc
  3. Being star player/regional All Star’s Team in Scholar’s Bowl (the high school equivalent of College Bowl)
  4. Winning a prize for my U.S. history essay
  5. A group of my friends yelled “Freebird” and then “Jackass” when my name was called at graduation.
  6. Getting 100 on my first physics test
  7. Being on the winning team at the Decathlon of Knowledge.
  8. making friends
  9. Playing the judge in a school play
  10. Having my English teacher read an essay of mine out loud to the class and the positive reactions of my classmates. He was the first person to recognize my writing abilities.
  11. Our team winning the state baseball tournament.
