Actually the name of two World Hockey Association franchises. The first began in 1972 and folded during the 1975-76 campaign. For fall of 1976, the Cleveland team was relocated to Minnesota and christened the “New Fighting Saints”, only to disappear by January '77.
You know, this was my mistake, I watched it with my wife and may have snoozed through the ending because I thought she had died. Apparently , she survived and left CSI for a job with the FBI.
Sorry about that. I guess Warrick Brown would be the best alternative answer.
And the moral is Don’t Start a Hockey Team in Minnesota
