Carl Reiner’s Fucking Good Cookies recipe:
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 pound (1 stick) unsalted butter
9 tablespoons sugar
9 walnut halves, finely chopped
1 cup flour
Preheat oven to 350. Cream together cheese and butter. Add sugar gradually, creaming after each addition. Add walnuts. Fold in flour and blend until smooth. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls on to an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten dough with slightly wet fingers until wafer thin. Bake 10 minutes.

I’d answer, but my grandmother, bless her soul, was a pretty bad cook and I don’t ever remember her making cookies.
