Bald guys with moustaches/goatees

I just got done looking at the People Pages. I haven’t looked at every single picture, but I made it a point to look up the names I recognised. Anyway, I noticed a multitude of bald guys with the moustache/goatee circle of facial hair. How many of you are there? Raise your hands so I can count…

And your point is??? Not bald yet…

Everyone wants to be a B.J. Hunnicut impersonator.

“And that’s the bottom line… 'cuz SPOOFE Cold said so!”

Note: No, I’m not bald… it’s just that the thread title immediately made me think of the Texas Rattlesnake. I’m proud of my head of lovely long hair, thank you very much.

If you shave your head, you must grow a goatee. It’s the law!

And yes, spooje is in full compliance.

I shaved my head just to be able to be able to get that look, I love it

Come on, Edwart Norton was soooo cool in American H X

As a woman (with long hair and no facial hair ;)), I have to say I really like that look. There is something sinister and yet very sexy about a bald guy with a goatee/van dyke.

I have to agree with Wicked Blue about finding that look quite appealing.

Huh, whatta ya know?
Not totally bald, but balding, with a mustache and goatee. Guess that’s why I married him.

Hey, guys? Those who are balding? Come on, you know who you are.
DON’T do the comb-over thing. You’re not fooling anyone, it looks ridiculous and besides, most women like the bald look.
It’s rather sexy. Thank you.

I agree whole heartedly with the above statement. That is a very sexy look.

yes, and avoid the Charles Emerson Winchester III / Bozo the clown look.

I would like to point out for the record, Your Honor, that I assumed this look approximately one year before it became “cool”, and therefore I am a trendsetter, not a follower.

Also, don’t forget the pierced ear. It’s pretty much a requirement, too.

I’d like to think that it makes me look a bit sinister. I really would. In truth, though, here’s the breakdown-

  1. I never really had much hair to begin with- I was a naturally thin-haired kid. I was starting to lose it, too, so I siezed the biological high ground and shaved it off. Biology ain’t gonna dictate nothin’ to me.

  2. I have no chin. This is a fact, easily verifiable from my high school pictures. A goatee (or, more properly, a vandyke) covers this fact. For all anyone knows, I’ve got a Kirk Douglas chin under all that hair. If I don’t grow a beard, my head is a bowling ball.

  3. I bet Opal doesn’t have these sorts of worries. Yeah, you, Opal.

Did the look for awhile. I still shave my head. The great thing about it is the agelessness thing. When I was 19 and losing my hair I looked older. With a shaved head, I look about as old now as people thought then, late 20’s. (I am almost 38 now). I love it because it feels so good this way. Hot! Just take a cold beer and rub it around the head.

I gave up the goatee. Yes it did make me look like a bad mutha…shut your mouth, but it also was itchy and not so comfortable. It is just as easy for me, if I shave, to just finish the job. Plus, my goatee is getting peppery, and my head is in 2nd.

I just recently buzzed all of the hair off my noggin. It’s about 3/16 inch long. Even before then, I always worn a “goatee.” My pic is on the people pages. Although, in my pic, I have a full head of hair.

Well, I’ve got the goatee (or Van Dyke, I guess); maybe it’s time to shave my head. Hmm…

Touché.
