I’ve now figured out my holiday plans right through until my birthday. However, I’m not even going to be in the right half of the country for Bamadope. I may be passing through on January 3, but that depends on the driving route my father comes up with for me to go from New York to Mississippi. And I couldn’t stay long enough to do anything, anyway, as on January 4 I intend to get up at midnight and start driving to Texas. So no Bamadope for me.
I appreciate that, but chances are I couldn’t be there before midnight Friday night. And probably closer to 1 or 2am. So y’all have dinner without me. I’ll try to find something to do, and someplace to go until Saturday’s festivities. 
Aww, c’mon. Okay… how about you scream “FUCK ME!” and storm out of the restaurant with me in tow? 
Supe, I’m gonna make a suggestion here, and feel free to reject it soundly. Since festivities in AL don’t start til afternoon, why don’t you show up at the Kitty House whenever you get in Friday? I have a feeling that those of us who collect there will be up relatively late, so even if it’s 2 or so it’s not a huge deal. Unless of course you’re just trying to nicely blow me off, which is perfectly [sub]un[/sub]acceptable. But I’d feel much better knowing you were safe and sound somewhere after that long drive. Just a suggestion.
