It seems as if it’s been forever since March 10, 2001, the infamous day that 7 Alabamians gathered together and ate at a restaurant that tried to rip them off.
But they survived! And now they’re willing to do it again (and hopefully increase their numbers)!
So, SilkyThreat and I have been discussing it, and we’re thinking sometime in June (preferably mid-to-late). For some reason, we think we should choose a different restaurant.
So, who’s up for it? What are good dates? I’m ready to meet more of you, if possible.
Hunts Francisco ((Had to show up Ogre)) sounds good to me. But whatever you guys decide… I’m just along for the ride on this one.
Oh, and Ogre, I’m going out of town to see my sweetheart this weekend <huge grin that no smiley could ever hope to define>, and going up to see Nocturne in “Annie Get Your Gun” the next. Then the one after that is Mother’s day, so…

As for Huntsville, I won’t be able to make it up there. Sorry guys…but by all means plan a Dopefest there if need be!
(“Annie Get Your Gun” is going to rock I hope–but between rehearsals and school and the other obligations I’ve roped myself, I have a grueling life. But there’s a bright spot! I have an SO. Maybe I can drag him along to the next Bamadope I attend…)

I can definitely do it in June. I don’t care where it is, particularly. Nocturne, since you’ll have trouble getting to Huntsville, by all means choose where would be easier for you. I’m there. No matter WHERE “there” is.

Screw it, guys. Let’s do both. We should have a Fayette (:)) Dopefest and a Huntsville get-together, since we don’t want to exclude Nocturne, and I for one would really like to meet Saint Zero and Juliana.
Hell, if nothing else, Saint, let me know when you’ll be in H’ville. I’m up there a lot, since my girlfriend lives there.
No, by all means, go and meet Saint Zero and Juliana at the beginning of June! Go show them how wonderful we BamaDopers are!
Then, maybe later in the month, we could have another Bamadope in Tuscaloosa. Or maybe in July. I don’t know.
(Simetra and SilkyThreat are probably going to get to see how much my town really DOES suck when they come to my show. No joke. We’re full of fast food restaurants, gas stations, and churches. And holy-rolling rednecks.)
