Sad thing was, I got the “bamf” reference without even opening the thread…
Wonder how a “bamf” will sound on the big screen?

Don’t like it. Kurt/Nightcrawler always had a velvet complexion – this thing looks like cheap grease paint. The tail looks too rubbery – in the comic it was a prehensile tail, like a monkey’s, but with the devil point. The tail should be done with CGI effects, not foam rubber.
I also remember him having nice, chiseled features (I was a huge X-men fan in the 80’s and early 90s), so that aside from the fact that he was covered in indigo fur, with vampire fangs, a tail and creepy digits, he still had good looking features (from a bone structure point of view.)
Pupils bad.
I dunno… if Stephen Dorff’s Blade character, Deacon Frost, was dark blue and fuzzy, that would fit a little better in my mind.
Wait, I should qualify that – I don’t think that Stephen Dorff could pull of the Nightcrawler persona, no, no. But covered in indigo fuzz with pointy ears and teeth he’d have the right look to him.
I’m sure the tail will have some sort of CGI aspect to it- I’d think it would be difficult to show a prehensile tail in action onscreen if they used some sort of mechanical prosthetic.
I still have problems with his hands and feet, though…
They’ve already cast Beast and Colossus. I really want to see what they do with these guys…
Nope. I was in love with Nightcrawler back when my ex was addicted to Marvel. That’s not him. He’s not fuzzy.
(total useless hijack)
Why’d they have to make two whole movies about Blade? Blade was the least cool of the… what’s-their-name… crimefighting trio… argh… Nightstalkers! That’s it! Anyway, Hannibal King is twenty times cooler than Blade. Blade used to wear dorky goggles and a brown leisure suit.
(/end useless hijack)
well, they mucked up ‘snikt’ and i never even noticed a ‘thwipp’, so I wouldn’t hold out much hope for ‘bamf’
I got the “bamf” reference without opening the thread first, too.
And I thought this was a Samuel L. Jackson/Pulp Fiction appreciation thread…Bad Ass Mutha Fucka!
