Anybody know what band plays in the new “Have You Missed me?” TV ad for McDonald’s McRibs? It sounds like Matthew Sweet.
The McDonald’s corporate website was no help.
They brought back McRibs?
B…b…b…ut I knew they were overly-sweetened body parts when they test-marketed them when I was twelve… What the hell prompted them to bring them back? Did they just have three hundred tons in a landfill somewhere that refused to biodegrade?

Dude, at least in the Midwest, they bring back the McRib at LEAST once a year. It was a regular menu item in my youth.
I’m curious about the band, too, but I’m not hearing any Matt Sweet in it… It sounds like Adam “Fountains of Wayne” Schlessinger did the production work, though.
