Last week I went to see Bobby “Blue” Bland and BB King in concert.
To start the show, Bland’s band played a rather long instrumental piece where each member would play solos. After about 15 mins, one of the horn players introduced Bland
BB King’s band did the same thing.
Is there a name for this occurance?
