Rusted Root – 2 females
Chumbawamba – I think they have two females in their large musical collective, Alice Nutter being one.
The Golden Palominos – lineup always varies, but they usually have Carla Bley OR Syd Straw on board, and sometimes one or more of the following: Amanda Kramer, Lydia Kavanaugh, Lori Carson, and others. So, often, yes, but not always.
The Mekons – lineup varies. Sometimes qualifies.
Poi Dog Pondering – same as above, except these guys often sport a lineup of a dozen musicians (and two or three dozen musicians have been in their past lineups). On any given night, probably.
The Residents [???] – probably only the one female, including on their tour of about 3 years back. However, since they jealously guard their identities, names, and faces (those giant eyeballs and other masks!), it’s hard to tell! [insert giant eyeball smiley here]
With Rusted Root, I meant that it’s a large-ish group of several guys and two women.
