The last paragraph is definitely a straight up ripoff. Hmmm.
Or, more likely, both Cecil and the second article have taken the final paragraph from the same source material.
Why would you say that’s more likely? Cecil’s paragraph is naturally written, whereas the other one strains to say “obviously” without directly using the same word.
And Cecil wouldn’t lift passages so directly without proper attribution. He’s no valedictorian.
Seeing as how Cecil wrote his in 1997, and this Bangalore article is from January of this year…<BUSTED>
