How do I get the bar codes that are printed on the back of cd’s?
My last cd project was manufactured at a professional “pressing plant”, and they supplied the code. The next projec I want to manufacture at home on my computer, but retailers want the bar code, so where do I get it?
Just do a Google search for barcode generator.
You need to have been allocated an official range of product numbers to use - such as UPCs or EANs - you can’t just bash in any old number you like, or you might be creating a barcode that also exists on someone else’s product somewhere out there.
