I particularly dislike pub-style restaurants that have high tables with tall stools instead of regular tables and chairs. Why? At least there’s an excuse for a tall seat if you’re actually sitting at a functioning bar.

That’s great for your home, where you can choose such a seat that fits you properly, but in a public setting, any overly-contoured seat is awful for anyone who isn’t the right size/shape for that particular seat.
What impresses me is the purse rack built into the back of each stool. A very handy idea.
But better suited for a gaggle of co-workers in a locked building than a bunch of randos in a bar. It’d be too easy for a baddie to walk past and scoop up several on the way out the door.
A tractor seat fits every butt.

Seat belts might be helpful sometimes.
The seats are red enamel stuff. The legs are chrome.
there’s a lounge here in town that has leather “slings’? for bar stools, like the swing sets on playgrounds–I can only imagine someone who drank too much trying to navigate those without falling
