I have an XBox 360 Elite I bought about two years back that hasn’t been used more than 40 hours or so. I bought a PS3 not long after the XBox and discovered pretty much all the games I want are on the PS3. Thus, rather than collect dust, I’d like to see the XBox go to a good home if the price is right. Included are:
[ul]
[li]One XBox 360 Elite (white) console including all associated electrical and media cables[/li][li]One wireless controller[/li][li]One headset still in its original unopened package[/li][li]Original XBox box, which all components will be repackaged in[/li][li]One wireless Guitar Hero 5 guitar along with associated copy of Guitar Hero 5 game[/li][li]A handful of games which I can list later if asked, but off the top of my head include Guitar Hero 3, Fight Night Round 3, Fight Night Round 4, Kung Fu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones, and some others[/li][/ul]
Again, I’m only selling if I feel I’m getting a good price on this. PM me with inquiries or offers. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. Thanks.
I’m not interested in buying it, but for those who are:
How big is the hard drive on your XBox? Elites are usually 120 GB, but they’re also usually black, and I think some of the special edition consoles that were different colors also had 250 GB hard drives.
I’ll double-check the hard drive and respond in this thread.
I’ll give you absolutely 0 dollars. Since you aren’t requesting any specific dollar amount this seems like a fair offer.
Who are you kidding? Give us a ball park of what you’d like.
Go sell it at gamestop. Easiest way to do it. Wont get top dollar but it’s ok. And if you use it for credits towards future games I think you get a bonus.
I am here: Google Maps
Ha! I’ll double your offer!
Whatever happened with this?
Damn you. I can’t compete with this out of towners and their bundles of money!
Any further comment on this? I’d be interested in the specifics as mentioned above…HD space etc…
Sorry, I guess I kinda abandoned the thread there, since it didn’t get a huge reaction.
I had one prospective buyer inquire about it through PM, so I’ll tell you all what I told him the bundle I’m offering:
[ul]
[li]Xbox 360 60GB (the white one)[/li][li]One wireless controller[/li][li]One headset (still in original unopened packaging)[/li][li]Power cable and component wires[/li][li]Original Xbox 360 packaging and manuals (all in very nice condition)[/li][li]One gently used wireless Guitar Hero guitar (with original packaging)[/li][li]Several games including 4 Guitar Heroes (III, V, Aerosmith, and Metallica), Assassin’s Creed II, Fight Night Round 3, Kung Fu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones, and a few others I can’t remember.[/li][/ul]
Buyer assumes delivery charges. At this point, I am not setting a ballpark amount – if someone makes a good offer, I’ll consider it.
Based on this new information, your system is likely between 3 and 4 years old (not two, sorry) and uses the “Falcon” chipset which is more prone to the Red Ring of Death than the current “Jasper” and “Vejle” chips.
I know you don’t want to put a price on it (seriously, why?), but I think $100-$125 would be reasonable.
It is certainly not 3-4 years old. I bought it new after moving to my current place and I’ve only been here two years.
Then whoever sold it to you was lying about it being new as that model of Xbox 360 hasn’t been produced in three years and was last common four years ago.
Also, a list of Xbox 360 models:
Yours is a 60 GB Pro model, which hasn’t been produced since Fall 2008. The Kung Fu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones disc was also only included in the Holiday 2008 bundle, so if that disc came with the system, it is exactly three years old.
Go trade it in at Gamestop for PS3 games. They’re doing a special where traded games give you extra credit towards select titles, including Skyrim I believe.
Yes, I have that exact one, and it indeed was purchased in November of 2008, three years ago.
I second Gamestop.
Reported.
