Who did the St. Louis Cardinals play on June 25, 1876? What was the score? Any details on runs, hits, errors, winning pitcher, losing pitcher?
Is there a Web site that has these details?
Thanks.

I know that on that date Custer took on the Souix and Cheyenne. There are lots of sites covering that one.
The St. Louis Brown Stockings (later the Perfectos then the Cardinals) didn’t play on June 25, 1876. They played the Philadelphia Athletics on June 24 (won 8-3) and the New York Mutuals on June 27 (won 7-1). You can see their schedule on the Baseball Almanac site.
Is this from some sort of contest? Because it sounds like a trick question.
It looks like the 1876 National League teams were the St. Louis Brown Stockings, the Chicago Cubs, the Hartford Dark Blues, the Boston Braves, the Louisville Grays, the New York Mutuals, the Philadelphia Athletics, and the Cincinatti Reds, so if you guess, you have a one in seven chance of being right.
They had one pitcher, George Bradley, so I’d imagine he was their pitcher.
Just to correct that league lineup a bit –
Boston Red Stockings (now the Atlanta Braves)
Chicago White Stockings (now the Chicago Cubs)
Cincinnati Red Stockings
Hartford Dark Blues
Louisville Grays
Philadelphia Athletics
New York Mutuals
St. Louis Brown Stockings
Except for the Boston and Chicago franchises, all the rest are now defunct. (The Cincinnati, Philadelphia, New York, and St. Louis teams that exist today arise from separate franchises that were founded later.) American League teams later reused some of the nicknames for their franchises – Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Browns (now the Baltimore Orioles), but, again, these are separate franchises.
Oh, yes, and add the A.L.'s Philadelphia Athletics (now the Oakland Athletics) to the list of teams that reused older team nicknames.
You can view an entire log of the 1876 St. Louis season at Retrosheet.org

There were very few baseball games played on Sundays. In fact, in 1876 the National League played ZERO games on Sunday.
