No, no. The Living Wake is his best performance.
(though, admittedly, this isn’t an example to point to for skeptics of his Lex Luthor casting)
No such announcement was ever made.
A lot of the skepticism about this movie is based on people conflating unconfirmed rumors and speculation as fact.
There’s a new Flash TV show coming up. Rumor websites have been trying to tie that (and Arrow) to the movie universe.
Is “Wonder Woman is a Kryptonian” rumor/speculation or is that a confirmed fact?
Speculation that ran as news. The original author had to come back and emphasize that it was his own personal theory.
It is a solid theory, though, given the whole ‘ancient Kryptonians crash-landed 20,000 years and one escaped’ thing.
You’re right, it wasn’t an announcement. But it came from Variety, so I put a little more stock in it than your typical movie rumor.
There’s a whole lot of gossip and speculation and manufactured ‘leaks’ going about and muddying the waters. Major reliable publications were announcing months ago that Bryan Cranston had signed a multi-picture deal as Luthor. All because one website said so.
Wouldn’t it be great if they just dubbed Kevin Conroy’s voice in over his?
Side thought, if they ever do a live action “old retired batman in the future” movie/show, they should just use KC.
It’s truly a shame that Ben Grimm will never be voiced by Randy Savage.
Ooooooooooooooh Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! It’s clobberin’ time.
Funny.
In the comics, I always imagined him as Ernest Borgnine.
“Jesse Eisenberg will be playing the new Lex Luthor and Superman ends up defeating him by putting him in a room with a cute girl”.
Sucks to be Zod.
