Slow start up, my Aunt Sally. Nine minutes left and we haven’t blown anything up. We haven’t even selected the crew to go blow stuff up next week.
I guess about 90-95% will volunteer
Don’t take Baltar. Kill him.
It looked like there were twice as many portside as starboard.
At least we won’t die from anticipation waiting for next week.
They better have LOTS of 'Splodey in these last two episodes, especially with the way the previous eps have all been deathly dull talkies (cheap)
Although it was nice to see a terminally ill Roslin volunteer for the mission, betcha seeing Madame President in that condition and yet still volunteer for the mission shamed a lot of people into making the decision to join the mission
Wow… What a total waste of an episode. For the first time I’m concerned and feeling almost no confidence this will have a satisfying ending.
They’re actually going to have Lee do something. I’m kinda shocked.
I liked it a lot, considering it was only 1/3 an episode.
We aren’t going to get all the answers; I think Ronald Moore has stated as much. I think it should be an entertaining episode next week.
It was nice seeing her crawl out of her deathbed, but she can’t really contribute anything other than moral support. Isn’t funny how everone on Capria seems to have the same tasts in interior design?
I agree. Maybe I’ll come back next week and eat my words, and if I do it’s still a win. I hope they tie up at least 5 loose ends that are open right now (the Final 5 and earth’s history, where the humans/cylons will go now, what is Kara, what are head people, what is the overall plan) in that two hours, but based on the pace of the last few episodes I’ll say no. I hope I’m wrong.
I doubt it.
Ron Moore is a Dead Man.
I may join in the lynch mob, just because listening to and reading all the whining for the next week is going to drive me over the edge.
No doubt, he’ll find these reactions hilarious in his next podcast.
Anyway, I really liked that they bookended the series by harkening back to the way their lives were on Caprica, before or just as their worlds were blown to smithereens. It has been a long time, and they’ve all changed so much that it was kind of creepy seeing a Kara that wasn’t trying to self-destruct.
But I expect we’ll get more of that next week – Adama’s mysterious meeting he didn’t want was left hanging. Although I was expecting a callback to Lee’s tragic girlfriend/finacee from “Black Market”.
I was a little annoyed at the intro, when we again got “as previously seen on BSG that you’ve never, ever seen before” stuff tossed in… but I guess I should be used to that after four seasons, too.
her main purpose in volunteering was to shame the more able-bodied that didn’t want to volunteer
What the hell is up with iTunes only having up to episode 18? I’m in Japan and hulu stopped streaming over here. :<
The “Caprica Before the Fall” was well before the attacks - when Giaus first met Six, and Zach and Kara were a couple.
I’m not sure how long Zach had been dead when the Mini Series happened.
I have mixed feelings, i’m anxious to see how it plays out.
Endings I Don’t Want to See:[ul][]They go back in time and found the human race on Kobol. The whole thing’s a big time loop[]“Computer, End Program” =What a Strange Dream[]You wanna’ find out what was going on sucka? Watch Caprica.[]The Lords of Kobol used the entire human/Cylon race over thousands of years of history to produce one new recruit, Hera. We’ve served our purpose and can all die now.[/ul]
Two years.
I have this really, really, really bad feeling one of those is going to happen.
I hate you.

The time-loop theory might be where they’re headed, since they’re going to jump close to a singularity. I hope not, but yikes.
When they showed the planet Caprica from a distance, didn’t the continent in sunlight look like Antarctica without any ice/snow? Hrmmm.
And what was Drunken-Lee doing with that pigeon (they have pigeons on Caprica?)
Hrmmm.
