Battlestar Galactica 4.21 "Daybreak" Part One

I think next week, we should have two threads for Battlestar. We may need a live thread for those on the East Coast that want to comment on the spoilers of the final moments and one for post-show analysis.

Anyway, I’m guessing that tonight, Bill decides to go take on Cavil. Let Galacitca be frakked, he’s going to go in and blow stuff up.

You?

It sure doesn’t feel like they’re close enough to the end to be two episodes away.

And isn’t there, like, more than one Cavil?

I think two threads would be hopelessly confusing. It is one show, so one thread.

Either everyone who wants to post before the west coasters needs to spoiler-box their stuff, or the west coasters will have to endure what all the other delayed-viewers have to endure in avoiding threads wherein they might be spoiled.

First it was “Galactica has three jumps in her.”

Last week it was “Galactica has five jumps left.” With the Cylon upgrades I assume.

So, bets on how many jumps it takes to get to [del]the center of a tootsie-pop[/del] the Colony?

Just a heads up, to those with DVRs. I don’t know where the program info comes from, but I just noticed that my DVR wasn’t set to record tonight (I have a series recording set up). Looking at the program info, it says original air date “March 13, 2008” (so it thinks it’s a repeat), and lists the cast as “Dirk Benedict, Richard Hatch, Lorne Greene, etc.” (original series). Wierd. FWIW, I have AT&T Uverse SciFiHD. So you might want to double-check, ESPECIALLY if you have AT&T IPTV.

and here we go…

<Yawn>… when did the show change to “Days of our Battlestar”

Enough Soap Opera In…Space!, more 'splodey!

Yes, i know, they’re setting up the backstory of the day before the Cylon Genocide Mark II… it’s just kinda’ hard to care for the ancillary characters they’re introducing now, since they’re all radioactive worm food (Band Name!) by this point in the narrative

We seem to be using up our last three hours well…

I don’t normally do this post-in-media-res crap, but I loved the Caprica Before The Fall stuff.

So, there. :stuck_out_tongue:

I wonder if we’ll finally find out who Six was meeting in the miniseries.

Survivor count stands at 39,516.

[TV Announcer voice] It’s the NEW final Battlestar Galactica, NOW with 100% more filler than before!

More filler, Less Splodey!, guaranteed 100% more tedious, order now, operators are standing by, dial 1-800-this-is-frakking-boring, we guarantee your dissatisfaction or double no money back!

Jesus.
This is going to be worst than the dentist’s it sounds like…

Oh, please. Anyone who didn’t know that this episode would be a slow start up, and suddenly go all whacky at the very end to stop on a cliffhanger just hasn’t been paying attention. That’s what they do in their season enders.

I think Bill Adama just decided to go save Hera.

Interview in the bathtub.

More than likely that’s the rescue mission Adama refers to in the preview as the “one way trip” - attempting to rescue Hera-

Who the heck has been shaving Sam? I mean, he’s been in the tub for weeks, right? Why doesn’t he have stubble?

Shoot Baltar. Now.

This is horribly painful… 10 minutes to redeem this crapisode
