There are six or seven spoiler-boxed posts. Is that really so impossible to live with?
What wading? The boxes are blanks. I don’t have to try to read blanks.
“If it’s from a future episode, or speculation based on same, it goes in a spoiler box.”
Some people don’t watch the previews. Hence, that material gets hidden. Sorry if this clutters the thread for you, but that’s the policy going back a couple of seasons.
Spoiler boxes aren’t too bad. Don’t forget, if you hold down your CTRL key and click in the box then everything is automatically highlighted.
I may be speaking too soon but I think we may be getting past some of the exposition episodes. Next week will combine at least three of the independent threads the show established earlier this season
Starbuck’s quest, the Cylon civil war, and the prophecy from the end of Razor.
Since Leoben found Starbuck I think we can also assume she is close to the destroyed Cylon fleet which also means she’s fairly close to Earth (based on the constellations in past episodes).
My guess is, we’re one or two episodes away from some of the best Galactica we’ve seen!
So does Leoben know that Anders is a Cylon? Does he know that Anders knows? He’s such a good mindfraker its hard to tell if he knows something or is just playing off their reactions…
Wasn’t it a previous convention to clearly describe in great detail exactly what was in the spoiler box without actually revealing what was in the spoiler box?
Most people have been doing that, or their unlabeled boxes, responding to labeled boxes, are clear in context. So I haven’t felt the need to play spoiler police.
But yes, the convention is to provide a guide to the contents of the box. Mystery boxes are not cool.
I would * say “Get a life, people” - except who am I* to say that?
My prediction: Kara being manhandled will provoke Anders, whose peculiar strength in coming to her aid will not escape notice. He, Kara, and Leoben will somehow take over Demetrius and make it to the base star (or, possibly more likely, the basestar will just show up).
Kara, manhandled?
Who can manhandle Kara without having the snot beaten out of him/her?
Good point about the basestar “just showing up”; I agree with you on that.
Yeah, if a Basestar shows up looking all blowed up and stuff and doesn’t immediately attack that will probably foil the mutineers’ plans at least a little.
Now that will be interesting - we already know that the Raiders can sense the final five. Will the Centurians also recognize them? What will happen when the Demetrius finds the Basestars with Anders on board? I’m starting to get excited about this week just thinking about this particular setup!
I think it’d be a lot more hilarious if they all ended up on the basestar somehow surrounded by chromejobs when Anders screams out “I wish those frakkin toasters leave us the frak alone!”
And then they all clank away.
The rest of the people would be left wondering whether they should shoot him or hug him.
Did anyone else notice the almost-but-not-quite Orion constellations when Starbuck was out flying her viper? I noticed it several times and had to stop myself yelling at the TV “we’re over here, look at the bloody stars you eejits!”.
But I didn’t as that would make me sound like an Irish person, and then where would we be?
I just looked at that opening scene again but I didn’t see Orion anywhere. I think it’s possible it’s in there though, the stars are particularly bright in that scene. There may be clues.
If anything cool like this happens, I hope they don’t cheat us out of seeing Athena’s reaction when the Centurions blow her off and defer to Anders.
