Battlestar Galactica Finale Thread

Wait.

Right Earth!!!

This is way too happy. :dubious:

Was the Cavil that killed himself the only one of his model?

So nuke earth was fake earth?

Oh for pete’s sake…

Did Cavil shoot himself?

Yes, Cavil shot himself. And if there were any other Cavils around, they fell into the singularity with the rest of the Colony. Along with the Dorals and Simons.

Yeesh, 30+ minutes to go on this!

I’m worried that the Centurians have planned their return ~50,000 years to the day of the ending of the BSG finale. You know, for continuity. Sleep tight tonight!

I like my ending better (Galactica and the Cavilcade exchanging fire, fade to black, leave the series unresolved), this whole “Fake/Alternate Nuked Earth” angle is a cheap cop-out

there’s still a half hour to go, lets hope it’s not this lame-o ending

At least Ron didn’t resort to time travel via the blackhole. BSG was in our distant past all along. They’re what 20,000-30,000 years ago, right?

This is pretty much starting to fellate with great allacrity.

Good to hear a few bars of the TOS Galactica theme as the Bucket sails into the sun(set)
So, Carnivorusplant, you got those melted-down DVD’s ready yet?..

I never saw the end of Star Trek: Generations.
I never saw the end of “The Brave Cowboy”.
I might turn off the TV right now…

LOVING this. Hahahaha.

Nicely answers the “how could life here… have begun out there… if we’ve got all this fossil record around?” thing.

Great, can you get me a flowchart Lightray?

Did the fleet fly into the sun to hide their location from the Cylons?

They’re the B-Ark.

I was hoping they’d lay out a city plan, build it, and have the Cavil-cade come wipe it out…going down in history as “Atlantis”. Still have enjoyed this episode though, I’ve realized it’s impossible to make a million nerds happy (me included) so I’m trying to be more accepting. This ending is acceptable to me

I KNEW the planet looked like Fintlewoodlewix…

That was Ron Moore reading National Geographic.
