Battlestar Galactica; will we ever meet a Lord of Kobol?

Why would you think that the Cylon attitude toward humans is so very simplistic? Especially since absolutely nothing else on this show has been that simple.

And since we’ve seen a D’Anna frankly admiring human resilience. And two Boomers sympathizing with humans, and one at least in love with a human. And Caprica Six now advocating for humans against the Cylon occupation committee. Not to mention that the first thing they did with empty Caprica was to move in and start “playing humans”.

They may hate humans, but they also love humans, and want to understand humans and want nothing to do with humans. It’s a child-parent relationship, after all. Its not going to ever be as simple as “Cylons hate humanity.”

Also: Moore’s podcasts are frequently stream-of-thought ramblings deliberately thrown out to antagonize Internet fanboys into a tizzy. And even he’s admitted that the stuff he talks about is canon only until or unless somebody comes up with a better idea.

So, maybe we will still get to see Dirk Benedict playing god accompanied by Jimi Hendrix tunes…

Even that’s not clear. How does a “god” die? I can think of at least one Earth religion where a major figure “sacrificed” emself, died, and even had a tomb, yet still exists and is prayed to. How much looking around did they even do in Athena’s tomb? If they had managed to find her body it would have been mentioned already.

That’s pretty much it. Saying “each of the models represents a human archetype” just sounds cool. It’s just like Ron Moore to yank something out of his ass that sounds cool. We’ve met seven “archetypes” now and has Mr. Moore ever actually explained these “archetypes” other than, “this one is the hot blond-chick archetype. This one is the hot Asian-chick archetype. This one’s another hot blond-chick archetype…”

Yeah, it sounded cool but c’mon Ron. We know what your “archetypes” are.

This is the single malt archtype.
