So the 11th it is then. A birthday BBQ for Jack.
That works perfectly, since the 18th is my birthday, and we all know that Demo has something extraordinary planned for that weekend, right? 
Doob forgot to mention that while indeed, Demo and I supplied much booze last summer, we also consumed most of it. Whoever dished out dessert last summer, thanks- we owe you one.
Certainly no one is obligated to bring anything, and we have plenty of space for anyone that might need to crash for the night.
No comment on the naked twister.

Everyone is welcome, we love meeting new people, and we love hanging out with all the friends we’ve made so far.
Demo will probably put together an email group or something, and send directions along with our phone number or whatever else as we get closer to the date.

Man, I gotta start posting here more often. I bet if anyone recognizes my sn, they don’t realize I live here, too. I’ll try to make it, but I don’t know what I’m doing the day after tomorrow, let alone August 11.
Hey! What the hell is this? I never told Doob he could invite a bunch of people over to my house! Just kiddin’. 
Ok, cool, it looks like we have some vicitms…err…takers for this thing already. As Doobie said, psy and I will be getting a keg or a pony depending on how many people we get. It will probably be something like Sierra Nevada pale Ale or Lagunitas IPA if that sounds good to everyone. We’ll also get margarita and daquiri fixin’s too. Oh yeah, and Pat’s bottle of Meyer’s Rum is still here from last year. If there are any other liquor suggestions, let me know.
As for food, we’ll probably be making some Jerk Wings, hamburgers and hot dogs, pasta salad, and my salsa. If you want to bring anything else, go ahead and bring it, but certainly don’t feel obligated.
The 11th sounds good to me, as well. Perhaps I’ll start drinking at 11 this time, instead of 8. That should get me through desert, at least.
BTW, if there are any newbies or lurkers hiding out there, come on over. Don’t be shy. We don’t bite (at least on the first DopeFest anyway).
Do you have cats? I’m pretty allergic, although the Claritin does seem to boost my resistance.
I’ll also be getting some wine from work. Maybe something like 6 bottles of red (merlot, cab sauv, pinot noir, shiraz, etc.), 6 bottles of white (pinot grigio, chard, sauv blanc, etc.)
Urp. Here we go overdoing it with the liquor already!

hehe. No cats, Snooop. Demo despises all animals (well, unless they are marinated and grilled, of course), so we have no pets of any kind. You should be allergy-free.
But … but … Daisy loves Demo.

IIRC, you started drinking at 11! Pace yourself next time. Pat and I dont want to have to take over hosting dutues for you and psy. Oh and i hope you remember everything too :)!

Demo also said I could sell from my extensive line of homemade soaps and bath products…but I’m not sure if he was kidding or not. Bring your checkbooks just in case, nyuk nyuk.
Oh yeah, and I’ll second that Demo is quite the grillmaster, I think I ate my weight in food that day – MERCY!

We did have a dog. Sadly, our beloved Nathan took a trip to Doggie Heaven in December. We decided no more pets until we get a big house with a yard.
Woah, so Vince would agree to a dog if you had a big house with a yard? Times, they are a changing!
I haven’t agreed to anything…yet. But, you know, this old man is getting…erk…nice.
By the way, I did end up redoing the deck, so it’s notall ‘toe up from the flo up’ or that skanky red color anymore. Now it’s a nice doodoo brown.
We’re going to go look for patio furniture this week, since the other table blew over in a storm last year and died.

Just a bump. We’re still planning on August 11th. I sent out a reminder e-mail to those who posted in this thread with driving directions and our phone number. If you didn’t get it then I either miscopied your e-mail or you lied about your e-mail or mindspring’s mail servers died or you didn’t check your e-mail or your grandma hacked your e-mail account because she wanted to stalk me or you don’t have internet access or I was shot by someone lurking on a rooftop and didn’t get to you…well, never mind all that, I digress.
