Presently, we have four bean bag chairs that I am thinking of consolidating to look something like this ain’t that a bad boy.
I figure that by doing this design it could be used as a porta bed for the kids, a pillow and assortment of other things as well. And store better than the gelitanous blobs that are bean bags.
However, those little beady foamy things inside of bean bags are a Basic Nightmare to work with and transfer from the old to the new. I was thinking of just offloading what we have to a resale shop.
But, do you think I could use packing peanuts or something similar for a lighter bag?
You can use packing chips, but it won’t flow or mould to your shape like a regular beanbag. If you do this anyway, make sure they aren’t the biodegradable ones made of corn starch.
Don’t use packing peanuts. I tried refilling my deflated beanbag with them. Not comfy at all. I’ll be watching this thread for suggestions, though, since my dream is to one day create a giant sculpted bean bag: Jabba the Couch
