Now watching on DVR.
God, what a funny movie! […wiping tears…] Holy cow! The cartoon-face-on-Whistler’s Mother-scence left me gasping for air, so close was I to blacking out from laughter.
You’ll be glad to know the sequel is on its way.
You too?
The only thing in recent memory that had me laughing so hard was this:

I see it only took you two minutes to skip through the entire film.
(In case you’re serious… That was “now watching”, not “just started watching”. The first post was to prevent spoilers showing through mousepointer hovers.)
Woohoo!
I was disappointed, to be honest. I’m a huge fan of Rowan Atkinson and his Mr. Bean character (I even named my cat Mr. Bean), but the movie was a waste of his talents. I saw it in the theater when it came out, so I can’t remember details of the movie, but I just remember being so disappointed by a movie I really wanted to like.
I’m glad you liked it, though. I hope the sequel will be better, but I’ll wait for it to be on HBO instead of paying $10.00.
Agree with Nutty Bunny- love Bean, wanted to love the movie, but was disappointed.
Quite honestly, it was the performance of Peter MacNicol that stood out to me. Probably one of the greatest straight-man roles I’ve ever seen. That’s what made the scene I mentioned so great…
Eyes popping, slapping forehead: Oh, God!! … Jesus!! … Holy Shit!!! … Mary!!! … Mother of … Jesus of Nazareth!..
