Bear left MMP

squee!

When I get that $183,000,000 from my great uncle the Nigerian Prince, I’ll be able to visit you.

KITTEHS!!!

I went to school w/ the one of the original models; Hulk, I think. Don’t laugh, it paid for med school!

VBob, Habs
dangmuthafudder#$%^&* grumble, grumble, grumble I haz ulcer/canker sore in my mouth. The hex* is really making me want a good drunk tonight & the booze hurts over that one spot (& I can’t bring myself to get drunk thru a straw)! :frowning:

On a related note, Cap’n, I’m rethinking this whole shark launcher thing. I mean, they’re sweet, innocent sea creatures & they might get hurt if they land on the pool deck. I don’t wanna be responsible for that. Howsabout this instead. Let’s get a couple & I nominate the hex* for target practice & dialing in of sights.

  • Hex, as in curse, cause she is one.

Up, caffeinated, off to work.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 86 with the possibility of flyin’ chainsaws.

Nurse! the kittehs are teh keeeeeeeeyoooooooote!!!

In other news, I have a little bit of, for lack of a better term, ick, this mornin’. I plan on goin’ to irk but just feel sorta icky, especially the tummy. I don’t wanna eat, so there’s sump’n goin’ on! Ah well, I shall survive. Fortunately, I can handle caffienatin’ quite well.

Ok, I shall commence purtification for irk. We shall see what happens from there.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

buh-lurf!

:grumble:

I made the executive decision to irk from da cave. I don’t want to stray too far from a bathroom just right now. That is as TMI as I shall get with that. ICK!

Good grief, swampy, are we sharing the ick? I was up and down all night long with, um, distress. **FCD **got up with Higgs and I kinda, sorta slept in till a bit after 8. Whatever it was seems to have settled a bit - we’ll see how the gut handles my breakfast.

One of the worst parts of the broken sleep was the series of bizarro dreams. I dreamed that someone shot my dad, which would be traumatic if he hadn’t already died 12 years ago. Then I dreamed a contractor that I’d contacted for a quote was trying to pressure me, and then my dad (who was alive again) into buying whatever I’d had quoted, but I wasn’t interested. Then there was a personal trainer from a gym who kept calling me “Red” - and I was confused because it’s been years since I dyed my hair red. Finally, I was in the not-quite-awake-not-quite-asleep phase of a dream that I was peeing, and I lay there trying to figure out if I was awake, if I was in bed, and if I was peeing. Fortunately, it was just a dream, and I got to the bathroom in plenty of time.

Nurse! - cute kittehs! May they be happy, healthy, and entertaining for years to come!

**BBBobbio **- why all of a sudden is Australia coming for you? Did your neighbors get up a petition to relocate you? I guess they didn’t appreciate the ritual animal sacrifice in your front yard every full moon. :stuck_out_tongue:

FCD’s dad called. They’ve decided they don’t need him to come down next week after all. The pacemaker implantation only takes about an hour, his bro’s wife will be taking him in for his surgery, and his dad’s procedure will be minor and quick. His folks didn’t think it was necessary for him to drive all that way, so as of now, he’s staying put.

Thus beginneth my day. I’m going to shower, dress, and return to my studio to do artsy-fartsy stuff. Happy Tuesday!

Well, I have returned from the adventures of last week. Happys to those with birthdays and such and ouches to those with injuries.

And when you are meeting a Mumper for a [del]multiple state ax spree[/del] dinner, always pick one who has a pickup truck and knows the back roads. Her Ladyship and I had a great time visiting with you. Now if we can only arrange another convention in Georgia to visit Sewampykins.

Its possible. We really hope to make a trip to Indy and the usual routes all go through there. Worse comes to worse, we’ll pick a spot betwixt and between and try for a mini Dopefest.

Clearly you need to come to Pittsburgh again. Your liver should have recovered from the last trip by now.

It probably has something to do with that warrant out of Nevada on me. I’m wanted for shooting a man in Reno.

Did you really do it just to see him die??

Mawnin Mumpers

RPC? I’ll have to think on that a bit.

I have to get to irk and tonight I get to hang the offending speaker cabinets, might find what I am missing.

Cheers all

Jim

I think he survived.

Good afternoon, folks.

I’ve been busy all morning. It’s a beautiful day. The sun is shining bright, it’s 73 degrees (On the way to a high of 83), and there’s a nice breeze blowing through the house, because I opened every window!

I found that the House Wrens have laid 3 or 4 eggs in the nest they built in my Pothos hanging basket, on the front porch. That makes me very happy!

I’ve cleaned the dog yard, and picked up poo. I’ve planted a couple of half dead cucumber plants, watered them in, watered the tomato seedlings that my husband planted out by the alley, and the back fence, watered all the other tomatoes, cukes, zucchini, flowers and herbs. The dogs are even brushed. So, that’s all out of the way. My daughter is cutting the grass. I’ve even got some chicken boobies marinating for dinner this evening. I’m on a roll!

I’m currently talking myself into vacuuming, next. After my iced tea break. I take frequent breaks. I’m happier that way.

Have a good day, everyone.

Busy, busy! We mowed the yard, with me doing the push mowing - dusty, dirty job! Then we went to the convenience center to dispose of trash, recycling, an old TV, and the dead printer. We just finished lunch. So far, gut distress has not recurred, so yay!

My afternoon plans involve putting purple glaze on my steampunk elephant.

Oh, and my strawberry connection is back! Rose had some beeyooteeful strawberries at her stand and we got 2 quarts. I’m going to make 2 batches of jam, so I need to check the recipe and see how much I need to buy. Plus I’m going to put some berries in the freezer for future noms. I lurves my strawberry connection!

FCM, I’m planning on making a couple batches of strawberry jam, as well. Ours probably won’t be ready until next week, though. Then I’ll have to wait for the blackberries, raspberries, and then the apples this Fall, for apple butter. I’m really hoping our tomatoes do well, so I can put up LOTS of tomato sauce. I’m having serious doubts about the pickles, though. The cukes aren’t doing worth a damn. :frowning:

I’d like tomatoes, just for themselves, but the damned squirrels here eat them. It’s not worth the aggravation, so I just go to the Amish stands and buy my tomatoes and cukes there. Stoopit squirrels.

Rose said this will probably be a really short strawberry season because it started so late due to the cold. She thinks when it gets warm, everything will ripen at once, then be done. So I’m going to get my supply the end of this week or early next week. We ran out of strawberry jam because I made only one batch last year. Won’t make that mistake this year!

So just how does that scam work, Bob? Follow-ups asking for cash/cc payments to get your new lodgings set up and transportation reserved?

Bad planning on your part.
:dubious:
