The Intercept has just released a podcast episode about that event and how corrupt the Atlanta Narcotics Unit responsible for the murder is. (Notice I didn’t use the past tense.) Anyway, folks here might find both the OG thread, and the podcast episode interesting.
Wow thanks! I’ve read both links, it was very interesting to see how the police warped the info from the very beginning, when you compare what is “known” by people in the OG thread and what was the truth afterall.
I’m not a mod, but I’m pretty sure it’s absolutely fine (and even appreciated) to revive a long-dormant thread if you have a relevant and important update on the issue.
It’s when someone revives an ancient thread just to make a joke or argue with a poster who passed away a decade ago, that’s when I see a person get their hand slapped.
Can confirm, that’s totally fine.
Also, I’m going to edit the thread title to make the content clearer.
