I’m gay and I find the use of the word faggy offensive. I don’t care if it is used to describe me or my choose of haircuts for poodles it offends me.
I think most gay people find ‘faggy’ offensive as do most people on this board. That is probably why their has been hundreds of posts concerning your use of it.
Yeah there are people they may use words like ‘faggy’ to describe something. Those people are usually 10-12 that are ignorant to the application. You are just a special case.

Yes…but intent is seemingly the key for the Mods determination of this. As Giraffe said in that other thread, it’s plausible that he really is this stupid…and stupidity alone is not a banning offense. Obviously the Mods feel that even if his actions ARE troll like, it’s his intent that matters.
Well, I don’t really bother replying to him in anything approaching a serious way anymore. But it’s been fun seeing his responses in this thread…they just reinforce how stupid and clueless he is. Besides…maybe the Mods are making a case against him and this will just be more evidence. I have to admit that normally I don’t like to see posters banned…but I won’t shed any tears or feel any regrets if The Gonz is banned.

How many Amish do you know? The Amish communities in the area where I grew up have a pretty high rate of firearms ownership. They hunt, target shoot, and eradicate pests with them. They like modern archery equipment too.
One of the favorite fund raising methods for VFD’s in those parts is a “gun bash.” You buy a ticket for anywhere from $20 to $50. At the bash there is all the food you can eat and all the beer you can drink. They give away a gun about every 15 minutes. Gun bashes are always well attended by young Amish men.

Tell me - do you have any idea what kind of weapons they prefer? I mean, I’d imagine they’d be limited by their own notions of modesty and frugality. I can see them favoring double-barrel shotguns and bolt action rifles, but an Amish with an AK-47 just seems wrong.
I’ve seen them pawing and drooling over everything on the shelves in gunstores. PA does not allow hunting with semi-automatic rifles, so all the Amish I know who own guns have bolt, pump, or lever guns.
OTOH, in states that do permit use of semis, the SKS carbine is a wildly popular choice as an inexpensive deer gun. It would not surprise me if Amish in those states use them.
